Rendering Routines and Rituals is a workshop that started out with a question of what kind of bodily-sensations we possess in virtual environments. Participants create their own personal and poetic bodies, organs, and interfaces that function within individual imaginations, facilitating the process of meeting in a virtual environment. This workshop explores keywords such as “machinery, technology, body, senses, objects, virtual reality, interfaces,” and contemplates the contemporary body, which combines universal human bodies and senses with technology and mechanical elements. It aims to foster the process of how emerging technology becomes a device that extends one’s senses and body, without the need for coding or complex programming.
